I'm guessing to further their prestige, the 'trickster troupe' want to actually catch the bandits, rather than having them be paid off and disappear, so they're asking for their location rather than for the guy to hide them away.

Hard to know if that's how they actually feel about their Knight Commanders. There were knights in ch.1 gossiping about the role in a way that implies that it's like that, but the opening of ch.1, and the fact that they're obviously searching the entire nation looking for the fmc, implies Knight...

I want to see more of how the country is reacting to her disappearance. That's the most interesting aspect of this, for me, so far. Ugh, so this would be a "it was all a dream" ending? Hell no. :bleh:

Luckily they're both younger, and I believe would lose it quite quickly. I believe it's a bigger issue for adults, especially older adults, who have lost the elasticity of their skin. Though do correct me if I'm wrong in that, I'm hardly an expert in extra saggy skin from extreme weight loss...

It seems more like he has a compulsion to say everything is so-so, rather than revealing his honest feelings. In their life together, I don't think the wife would misunderstand her husband, and know what he really meant. So the sad ending isn't so much that the wife died misunderstanding...
