Aww Lee Ruha's so adorable. When he talked down on himself, saying why would a girl as amazing as her would ever date him, I could see she felt heartbroken. She must've felt so sad seeing the man she loves have such a negative view of himself.

I feel like the two entities being the same is a bit off. It's possible the characters are wrong. I think it's more where the shadow originated from, rather than being the same thing as the monster. Dunno, that's just my thoughts.

Read a comment over at Bato, but apparently Lee Ruha is starting to wear similar clothing to Kim Sanghyun? Dunno if there is symbolism there or just a coincidence. If the artist drew that on purpose, then man, Lee Ruha is head over heels for him.
