HOLY SHIT IT'S BACK!

I was just trying to remember this series the other day, because I was worried it wasn't getting updates on MD anymore. Really hyped to see new chapters again, though!

Personally, I always prefer to have the volume's cover page & ToC in the first chapter of a volume rather than the end-of-volume omake chapter.

Just wanted to say that I greatly appreciate the translation notes/insight into the process at the ends of the chapters.

If you really wanted to read where the scanlation left off, the official TLs are up to chapter 58, you can probably find them on your favorite aggregator.

Oh my lord, the faces the characters make in this series are just so good, I love it. XD

A Proofreader doesn't need to know any Japanese, they need to be fluent in the language you are translating into (English, in this case).

Oh, so that's why I was confused when I read 17.4 from Kirei Cake after reading this chapter, they skipped the last 2 pages of this one...

Ooh, nice to see this back on MD! now I don't have to read it on crappy aggregator sites. Not to mention, the TL seems better than it has been.

The story is mediocre at best, but the faces make this series glorious.

The fact that you are checking the MTL against a non-MTL of a language you understand already makes this generally a lot better than other translations that just edit an MTL for grammar.

Sad that you're dropping this, & horrified that Tokyopop still hasn't died... Unless they have significantly improved since the time they started, it's going to be an over-localized mess with 0 translation notes.

I just came to comment pretty much the same thing as @Blitzen, after finishing chapter 2. The setting & tropes are common, but the MC's adorable. Seeing him flapping his arms when Yurishia came back gave me a huge grin, & how he just nonchalantly does outrageous things while being oblivious is...
