Thoughts about the ending I think the logic of the series is mostly consistent, and I don't think this would have been possible because The ending felt a little less disappointing to me because

I would still recommend this series. Sort of a journey vs. destination thing, the story is quite interesting for the majority of it. I like the characters, the worldbuilding is deep (although it can be a bit of a drag), and the magic and swords and powers are cool. All the themes come up again...
