Mashiro is once again the chillest person in this manga: gets fired and, with no anger or ill will, she just moves on, even accepts Makino's failed job attempts. Makino also just failed upwards. She gets a new job working with Mashiro, gets to simp over her girlfriend and will spend more time with her.

It's funny that Makino's main worry is about spending time with Mashiro. She's fine but not if they can't be together just as often as normal. They're good for now; though, I'm sure mom will try something else, like the bargain basement villain-of-the-week she is.

I imagine she cares a bit but she was mostly worried about losing out on time with her. Mashiro could have been doing anything and she'd be just as bothered. Once they got the normal couple times secured, she was fine.

The comments bring this stuff up way more than Makino ever does, seem to care more than she does and seem to really want her to also be that bothered by it. At most, it's a small thing for her, at least for now.

Yes. I recently turned 16 and on my job hunt I failed a couple interviews because of being blunt. I got asked that question every time and the first time my answer was "I need some pocket money".
