for real i’m so glad i read your comment. i thought i was alone in this. there’s so much victim blaming, i’m mad. people expect her to be perfectly vigilant and know everything about everyone just bc she’s an adult and has memories. like first of all she saw the prince as a kid due to her age, second he’s supposed to be jeremy’s best friend and she’s already rejected him cleanly. third she pitied him and he didn’t show any signs of being dangerous before. she even went bc she wanted to do something for her son!!! it was the library!!! and they left in front of all the eyes of the people at the christmas party. like wtf??? people need to stop victim blaming!!! disgusting. assault and other stuff happens from people in trusted relationships (FAMILY, friends, spouses) so often. is that their fault too?? should people just never trust anyone then?? god i hate victim blaming so much.
