Yeah its technically an expedition since my man need to make sure this girl even eats. still huh the king seemed redundant here ? He wasnt like that in the novel if i recall but i mean i cant blame him Lacey is afterall in fact... quite good at magic i mean she helped defeat the demon king afterall!
iirc, the hero's request was that the king grant Lacey's regardless of what she might wish for.
the implication being that the King would have refused her, but the hero's request put extra pressure on him to do so.
here it's portrayed slightly differently, but gets the same reluctance across.
I prefer the version where the hero's wish is for Lacey to be able to do what she wants, rather than the version where he subtly threatens the king, but this version moves the story a panel or two faster (and more humorously), improving the flow of the manga.
