This manga has been a real treat.. and I really want to see more hi-jinks but I also want to see them get together.

But at the same time, I know the manga is basically over as soon as they confess or whatever, so it's a double edged sword of wants q.q

Okay but genuinely curious, why is it that the MC's friends/family members (both the male and female's) do not just tell them that their feelings are mutual? Even though it's literally in front of them?
At least in my country there's a saying in this: "Noone likes a relationship of three", meaning that you shouldn't butt in two people's situationship or relationship. Most of the time things will get messy if a third party try to meddle in this situation even if well intended

Unlike a lot of romcoms, I think this one has some good potential even after they start dating.

It's not like just because they become a couple that they'll stop being lovably awkward dorks, or that Akira will stop being a danger to herself and others.

I know I'm just coping but let me cling to this hope 😭

It's okay, we can cope together.

Yeah... a translatation error?

but damn is she also crushing on him when he told he prefers to hear it from his sweetheart not her cousine telling him that.

Nah. It's just a thing that Japan does/likes. On one side is the fact that immatureness is seen as "cute" or moe or whatever so especially girls are encouraged to act younger than they are. On the other side is that this just appears to be how the manga/anime industry portrays kids, constantly significantly younger than they are. I watched a series where one of the characters was supposed to be maybe 12 or 13 but over the course of the series he acted and was even maybe drawn progressively younger, throwing tantrums and bawling like a 5 year old by the end. It's like all anime/manga make kids act younger than they are, so anime and manga producers then forget what actual kids are like and use those incorrect portrayals as their guides.
