Depends, the problem is that if nobody in that process understand the source material then how would you know the translation was correct to begin with.

To use a certain example from another series.

The sentence used "A, therefore B" structure.
The TL not only mistranslate B because it's written in full hiragana, but also swapped the order to become "B, therefore A"

Said group also had the gall to DEFEND the MTL when I pointed out it's wrong, which imo is the real line when MTL-er become trash.

Defending MTL is crazy especially after you called it out. Also from an entire group as well who refused to fix it? That just makes it completely worse lol. Normally i try to check the comments on my chapters to see if i have indeed made a mistake/tl error and try to fix it lol
