Her being enthralled with Aju when she met her. Now the almost-kiss this chapter. I’m sure you can write paragraphs and paragraphs about how it totally doesn’t count in these instances, but all I know is the mangaka keeps putting these scenes in.
She was enamored with Aju purely as a fan and here Mikage was drunk, being hit with an aphrodisiac. Neither was the least bit romantic at all. The Aju thing was absolutely nothing and this is just a gag. She is just friends with other women. It's not being in a triangle or a harem.

I get where you're coming from, but to me Naori being enthralled by Aju just means Naori likes women. Mikage feeling a bit of sexual tension with Naori can also be written off as just evidence that they're both fruity. I honestly appreciate it, because Yuri manga often only establishes that the leads like each other, without showing their attraction to women in general.

Right now, there isn't even a love triangle, just little things that can make Hinata jealous. We can circle back to this if any o-girls start pining after Naori, or "accidental pervert" events start happening to Naori.

it’s called seeing delusions! a serious dangerous disease that makes some one not be able to read a story without projecting
Are you trying to convince me or you? All I I did was point out that the mangaka is including quite a few scene of Naori interacting with other young women in contexts that could certainly come off as flirty or romantic teases. In fact if this manga didn't have Hinata and just had the women in those scenes I imagine readers would be taking them as romantic hints. Like I said, you can write up excuses for why it isn't, but the mangaka is still putting the scenes in. You can say "but there was an aphrodisiac" all you want, but the author still chose to contrive a scenario where Naori was almost kissed by another girl other than Hinata. So far, only the user above you wrote a decent possible explanation. Even if that is the reason, though, it's pretty uncommon for a yuri manga to take that tone, but I suppose it isn't impossible.

Also, I should point out: I never said I was hoping for a harem story. For a person who tried to say what I was doing was projection, that was sure was an excellent example of it that you provided yourself. I, personally, don't care if Hinata is the sole love interest or if it branches out into harem. Both would be fun stories that would carry the cozy vibe I've been enjoying. But given how violently you reacted to my post, to the point of basically insulting me, I would guess you are both against it and also deeply afraid it might happen, which is why my post hit a bit too close to home for you.

The monster tried to molest her, and then she gave it an "orgasm", idk the message the author's trying to pass here...

Okay, so it's clear that mixing drinks is like brewing potions. Seems more likely we'll get somewhere with that ''Ogre killer'' from chapter one.
