It's probably all fine and Sword is getting the readjustment he deserves, and in some fairness to him he was still in denial about Indra given just how absurd everything about her is.

Still, it doesn't feel great to have to see her mask up and suffer like this while just having to carry on, business as usual.

I know I pointed it out already last chapter, but I’m genuinely surprised that NOT A SINGLE PERSON has commented on how Sword dragged the girl to a completely unfamiliar town, got her registered at a single place to she has an identity, and just ditched her

And correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t he also give her literally 0 money, and she hadn’t actually sold any of her stuff, so she’s literally penniless atm, and likely will be for a while (even tho she had those inheritance jewelry pieces, odds are there won’t be many buyers in Isekai Starter Village #27


Honestly, I fw the plot point of her just distrusting everything and going solo, so long as the author doesn’t enter the trope traps of “I’m an edgelord” every 2 seconds, or “I wanna be a loner!” gets a harem 10 chapters later. Is there probably gonna be a reconciliation/therapy arc? Most definitely, I just think that forcing it with Sword right now is kinda iffy

And you're wrong about Indra not having any money. Indra has that bag of money from Hannibal, the butler, that contains the inheritance and child support payments. She received money AND her mother's jewelry.

Eh... I don't care for any of this. I'm kinda skimming this through.

The little girl is also incidentally a grown ass woman as well and literally capable of matching or potentially overpowering an S class adventurer while also simultaneously having all the knowledge and capabilities of the typical overpowered MC who can strike it rich, get into all the beneficial circumstances to lead a peaceful slow life wherever and whenever they want so all of this is just meaningless drama for the sake of artificially bloating the story with meaningless drama.

I also have zero care about who is to blame for what because I ultimately see this as all meaningless. There's also not enough buildup for emotional scarring that we're left to just make a lot of general assumptions too and we had very little indication prior to that sudden left turn that the MC is that emotionally fragile or mentally fragile. If anything, she seemed to be previously bossing her way through, making her beneficial relations as she wanted including to the lower staff that she personally got to assist her proving the reasoning that she supposedly breaks down mentally for incorrect, so this isn't even that consistent to me either. Now if it's some sort of long steeped trauma resurfacing and stuff like that, it also didn't seem to be shown as that severe that it would create this much of an impact, but we also just kinda skimmed through what could've been the setup for this a long time back and it never came back as a central subject.

So again this is all kinda meandering meaningless drama again that's just there to repeat the resolution of this. We're basically redoing things except with more drama because... Why are we doing this?

Or Sword interferes to save her and she thinks he's just trying to steal all her credit and her prey and she starts hating more and we go into a devolving spiral of nothing gets resolved for more drama.

I'm sure there are other options too.

I was specifically referring to the factoid that she doesn’t have a home - I am indeed aware of every other issue that got brought up, I’m just surprised that nobody drew attention to that specific issue, which in my eyes is one of the bigger issues
