It would be nice, but her dying serves to reinforce the theme that the people he’s up against are willing to do whatever it takes to take him down... Nobody is spared from their violence, including the unfortunate and even their own.

The author could have had another group encroach in, he could have had a corrupt politician take over, but instead we are stuck with Hisame and his cat allergies
