Thanks for the update. I mean, it wasn't entirely out of the question. Dunia works for the antagonist *honestly want to call him the red prince?* (or at least, the alchemy section does? I barely remember much), was the one trusted enough to watch over Amina (someone the antagonist is interested with) so in order to do that: send someone in the same age group (optional if the same gender), has a clumsy disposition to drop their guard even a little, plus it doesn't help a few chapters ago, Dunia's excitement with morbid topics. It really is a shame though that she lost a potential friend. Honestly, if Jackal and his men weren't just that good natured, I'd abandon them. Too much work. Judging from his brother's actions, while cunning also isn't the best kind of leader from what we've seen so far.
