Even though Ikuno knows that Seiichiro is completely innocent and that the blond idiot crybaby kid is just totally mistaking Seiichiro's demeanor because of appearances, she beats the shit outta him anyways? About 50 chapters ago, it was morbidly funny when poor Seiichiro would get caught up in situations like this, because people didn't know anything about him, but that gag doesn't really work with someone who (supposedly) has accepted him as a good guy. Gah, I should put the beer down today. Well, at least he got a boob pillow to rest his bloody head upon.👹

yes yes very cool seiichiro's resistance but ikuno beat him up because a child she didn't even knew asked her to. I would understand it in the charapter 30, but honestly at this point it make me want seichiiro not to speak to ikuno again.

She is a battle junkie and honestly just want an excuse to fight him. Deep down she knew its a misunderstanding, but just keep going with it anyway

For anyone that comes back and reads this in a more modern time I just want to say... If you get mad at Ikuno because of this chapter you don't understand the story. Violence is a form of communication that shapes the narrative. It isn't meant to be conventional or shape to the way that the real world is. It's about recognizing what's actually behind those things. A better idea of what this chapter really is, is if Ikuno decided to stop being friends with Seiichiro to protect her promise to this boy. And the boy would continue to see how much this would hurt her until he tells her to stop. It's not even like the story hides this either... just read the dialogue one layer deeper than what it EXACTLY says. Rant over.

This arc is a perfect representation of the entire series. Ikuno is the world who keeps beating on my boy Kitano for no reason. But even throughout all the unjustified abuse there is not a single hint of hate in Kitano's heart. At the end of it all, Ikuno can no longer beat on Kitano because she sees him for who he is instead of the portrait that has been painted of him. Hopefully the world can one day learn to love Kitano much like Ikuno did.
