Card game worlds really be like that
Like, everything else about how the other Vanguard protags started, sure, that were... reasonable enough. Aichi started because he wanted to make friends and Chrono started because... we can say someone just left him cards as a gift instead of them being Magicked into existence
But this. This is something you call the cops about. They may not be physically hurting them, and in fact just playing card games is harmless, but they are still you know. Adults threatening children? In a very public space?
That is just how the world of card games do, I suppose
