It's.. quite illogical. Think about it.
If you are a good person, who lashes out, and does scummy shit just to earn money (REGARDLESS OF WHATEVER ULITMATE CAUSES YOU MIGHT HAVE), you are still considered a scummy person if those activities are brought to the limelight.
Thus.. the entire premise of this novel is just based around the hollow, traditional, one dimentioned nice guy, whose "NICE ACTIONS" are amplified by 100 folds, because... He's the MC!! He must be the most gentle person who has ever existed! Even tho the nice actions in question aren't.. that remarkable?

huh? he is being toxic in a videogame, oh no... the horror... and it turns out he is doing it to help earn money for his sister who he is raising because his parents are dead. If that is not "remarkable" to you then honestly, you are the problem, and you cant even measure up to your own standards of morality
