So they can talk, strength to rip a jaw off, supposedly run, open car doors.....better hope they can't use tools like a knife or gun.

How can you survive? You have already shown that you are both weak and freeze up when it comes time to do something. Credit on your second encounter of you not freezing\cowering like before though you could have told him to help push the knife up.
