Yeah, these two feel a bit more "pair the spares" compared to the other couples but they're still cute together in that tomboy x dork sort of way, imo.

And, not having any special insight beyond the release info from Wikipedia, I was offering the only speculation I could make on why the author would comment on enjoying drawing the manga "to the last volume, to the very last chapter" on the jacket of their second-to-last volume release of a manga that they had just finished drawing a couple months prior.
