I remember that when I first read this manga... I kinda hated Kita, but as time passed, and grew up... I understood his character more, I don't like many the decisions he took, but I understand from where they came.

And lesser men would have buckled under the pressure or become twisted monsters, he has no illusions about his actions but he is not pursuing power for his own sake.

I respect him greatly now.

I'm wondering how Bismarck got close to Japanese waters if they're near Hashirajima. I suppose she exploited a hole in their formation with the carriers busy providing power to Japan or something?

Well, well. Takao is completely head over heels for Gunzou. She's easily the most lovestruck mental model in all of the fleet of Fog. There's a haze of lovey-dovey feelings in her head, a fog, even. But despite that she can still execute his orders without missing a beat.
