I'm glad I decided to read this, it really is interesting but also heartbreaking.

Someone needs to do an edit of that "do it for her" simpsons meme.

This is such a well written manga, I really hope it continues to be this way. Thanks for translating it!

Her case is really heavy. I wonder how long he can keep carrying it.

I think he's actually doing her a disservice by enabling her escape from reality - she won't get better that way. She requires professional help, if not, she must still learn to deal with stressors in an adaptive and incremental manner until she can be a functioning individual once again.

@criver it's japan. It is a step back from mental help. One big reason suicide is rather normal on their side of the country. They don't acknowledge mental health.

I hope they both get advised to seek professional help. There's only so much two mentally ill people can handle together before it spirals into a dangerous codependancy. I would know 😔

@Xxjuggernaut That's what the "if not" part was for. His pampering her is fine for her in the short term, but not in the long term. She will not improve her mental state unless she starts adapting and recovering from incrementally stronger stressors. He's just turning her into a person dependent on him - it is better than self-harm, but it is bad in the long term.
