Now that's a convenient hidden village of foreigners.

I'm thinking she doesn't stay... maybe she's seen too much or is aware of too much to ever go back to village life permanently. Unless she find someone or some cause she can dedicate herself to, wholeheartedly.

Eh, whatever the case, I get the impression the ending will probably feel a bit open ended and unsatisfying, but... that's par for the course.

Yh I suspect an open-ish ending as well and this really isn't a place for her to stay, if it's know to the Shogunate it will be found.

A secret village of foreigners in the open and no one is gossiping about it, cuz the neighbouring villages are all nice? In the edo japan period? Now thats the most unbelievable part we had yet.
