The demon kid he ran the shop with was kidnapped and is being held as a hostage iirc. He was going to save her, but met the red head on the way, which lead him to these other 2. Honestly, this has heavily declined in story quality from what it once was.

If this chapter is anything to go by, it even looks like the author is just killing off the entire story now because the dude lost both his arms. How can you blacksmith with no arms?
