This is really funny, and the bird spirits are great 'cuz they're not just people who turn into birds and maybe have powers, they really have bird personalities. I like the way it doesn't really fit any particular category. For instance, there's romance but it's very on-again, off-again, because the canary girl has an attention span of about ten seconds for any subject other than the fact that she's the prettiest bird in the world. So it's hard to call it "a romance" because the idea of "being in love" only occurs to her every once in a while.
