Astaghfirullah so haram... But it's accidental, just like when you're fasting then you accidentally bump into table and fall then the things above that table falling into your mouth, swallowed shawarma sandwich with extra tahini and a slice of apples and 3 liters of water.

My new life goal is to make a manga with all the regional food of the US that's popular enough for some poor translator to have to have to explain to japan why anyone would want to eat boiled peanuts

Why the fuck wouldn't you kiss her
I swear sometimes mangas treat relationships like it's 18th century courtship
Have you considered the possibility that anxiety exists? And that, much like in our world, the lack of telepathic ability in the world of the story means our protagonists can’t read each others minds, and therefore are nervous about accidentally getting carried away and doing something the other isn’t fully comfortable with?

They are childhood friends and have been dating for months by this point.
They are not flirting, they don't have crushes on eachother or a casual relationship or anything like that
They are dating.

@phonii Hey, just a heads up you appear to be missing a page. Would you mind looking over your pages for me?

It's definitely a problem for Daichi since he seems to be living inside his own head most of the time. Like, he can't communicate all that well, he just keeps going through things in his mind, ending up in conclusions that might have nothing to do with reality or Akira. It makes him exceedingly passive, which is pretty bad in this situation where those two are extremely comfortable in their childhood friends relationship. So, there's no particularly pressing urgency to change anything. Whereas if you are trying to court someone who was a stranger or semi-stranger just a little while ago, you might feel like if you don't push forward and be active, the relationship will just wither away.

Not that I'd be particularly complaining since Akira is much more interesting. She's not really familiar or psychologically/emotionally used to acting like a female. Of course she has been a girl her whole life, but at the same time her existence has been rather androgynous and not effected by gender roles. She has just been a straightforward sporty person, who hasn't had any interest in romance and likely not even much libido so far. But now she's really trying to be a girlfriend. This series has probably the most entertaining depiction of such struggle I've seen in manga.
