It's fun and cathartic, with really great art. But the characters are kinda shallow and one dimensional, with the exception of the main character, who is by far the best part of the story. He's vicious yet goofy with a mysterious past I'm very curious to know, so why he gets less screentime than the awful villains is beyond me.
The worst part is the lack of conflict - the protagonist doesn't have anything to make him struggle, no obstacles or antagonists, only victims. It feels like there were better ways to use the police, too.
Still, it's not terrible, just a bland copy of Dexter with a fun protagonist.
