Also true. But a weapon of mysterious origin which they never saw where it came from, stronger than anything they have in their shops, for lack of any other explanation, they can also just as easily write it off as a drop item from something they might have killed, but failed to notice until that moment. Whether it's crafted or dropped, the whole point is to misdirect them and not look at the siblings, or into their lives.
