Yeah what a dumpster fire. She literally sent that girl to her rapist, like WTF. I guess it okay now because the rapist is now a "reformed" rapist who felt bad because FMC happened to be virgin which apparently crosses the line.

But yeah good job FMC in saying it's okay in sending a girl to someone who roofs someones drink, sends taunting picture of nudes to a boyfriend about to get rape, and will rape unless the victim can prove they are a virgin. This is not even mentioning he probably raped several girls before as other rapist have.

It wasn't the FMC fault getting rape [even if she did cheated on her boyfriend for a day going on date with said rapist and also warn that the rapist was trying to make moves on her by her own freaking boyfriend and felt uncomfortable her being around him]. And her denial of her rape and pushing people away is believable. But this puts her pass being a victim and just honestly a piece of shit, plain and simple.

Never said she was an angel, kind of a lesson the MC needs to learn. TBH I myself found this to be her lowest point, and I can understand if people see it as a Moral Event Horizon. Girl has abandonment issues. When she's afraid that someone will leave her, or that someone will be taken away, she gets desperate and will do very stupid things, like going out with a philandering bastard to convince herself that she can like other people so she'll feel less pain about losing him, or, here, sending a girl who'll consent to anyone to a man who didn't care if she consented simply because she knows he's good enough to make even a rape victim orgasm without end. Honestly she's a good match for Ponta, who in his moment of desperation crossed the line to sexual assault (seriously, tell me that shoving his hands down her pants and forcing her to climax while she begs him to stop is anything less). I hope you all keep with it though. It's not a story of two good, pure people, it's a story of two royal screwups who make a lot of mistakes but still try to find their way to each other. It's one of the harshest romances I've seen, but even so...

Despite my problems I have with this story, there's is a story worth telling. A lot manga that included sexual assault or rape in a more serious matter tend to handle it in the worst possible way or with hentai logic.

I'd say it's more from people who followed a decade ago and then heard a bunch of BS about what was about to happen and/or things that would come further on down the line and decided that hearsay from people who didn't really know Japanese and just jumped to conclusions based on the pictures alone was more than enough to formulate an opinion. That and people that think a girl deciding to try and completely forget her rapist and the hate she has for him so that she can move on with her life is stupid, shallow or even indicative of some kind of partial consent.

I know. Ironic, isn't it? But judging from the content of about 75% of negative comments, it's clear that they honestly don't have the first clue what the text says. And the 10-year hiatus apparently came because of just the same sort of nonsense, with almost everyone who talked about the series describing how Takigawa started to rape her, then stopped when he saw she was a virgin and untied her, only for her to decide she wanted to have sex with him anyways, leading to a break up that they later reconcile. Again, painfully obvious that the people talking about it just looked at the pictures and said "this is what happened".

I'm not saying no one can read the language. I'm saying that some idiots who can't or didn't bother spread a bunch of nonsense and tons of people took those idiots' interpretations as the Gospel truth.

Damn, this is hard to stomach. I can't believe the FMC would send the runaway to her fucking rapist just to punish the MC and make the runaway disappear.

Obviously, letting the runaway crash at the FMC's house is a bad idea. The police need to be involved at that point.

I don't how the couple managed to stay together, from her rape to now this.
