I grew up with whats called "kickers" in my country and Tsubasa. I actually wonder why there are so few football mangas with girls as MCs: I mean their national team is quite successful since more than a decade.

Is there a meaningful distinction behind calling it kick-ball rather than football ?

Also, I only realised on second reread that the "Keritama supernova" text on her scarf/belt thingie was in english and had to be typeset at angles and shit. (yes I checked and it's in kanji in the raws) Great job by the translators.

And I guess supernova is going to be her title/nickname in the team ?
