@Maala
Oh look, there's the pedantic argument. He's 18. He's a legal adult the vast majority of in the world. And if they're changing the age of adulthood in Japan, they've admitted to the current age restrictions being incorrect or outdated and that's he's an adult and they're just waiting on the legal and bureaucratic aspects of the law to move forward. If you're going to make that BS argument, then we might as well say no one is an adult until they're 25. He's in college. He's an adult.
Ah yes, the argument of age is not related to maturity. Never said there's a direct correlation and I even agree there's a lot of exceptions, but no link whatsoever? Yea, right. Sounds like something a 14 year old would use to justify something stupid like drinking alcohol or smoke pot behind his parent's back and then getting caught and wrung out. Saying they have '
nothing' to do with each other is an impressively bullshit claim that I'd like to see some actual support for, but somehow I doubt you're a psychologist or have any real backing for that ridiculously large claim.
You're spouting off a whole bunch of irrelevant shit. Anyways, having gone to an all boys school doesn't mean you're a total idiot or incapable of communicating. Where did I say anything about him being bad at dealing with women? Though, he definitely is. But that wasn't my point. I said he behaves like a child, spouting stupid platitudes and I was actually referring to her, this time, when I said shit at communicating.
Yes, having a negative opinion of a mediocre manga is forcing one's life views. Good job Sherlock, you've discovered what an opinion is. Gotta love it when the fanboys come out of the woodwork with whatever bullshit they can to try and discredit any negative opinions or observations of a given series.
Good straw-man, where did I say anything about him not growing?
Oh look, the tu quoque fallacy. I'm "making fun of his English" because I don't understand what the hell he's saying and, from what is legible, he seems to have made an incredibly stupid point. I wouldn't give a shit about his grammar if he was at all coherent. I didn't claim to have perfect grammar or imply he was wrong for having imperfect grammar, but that he was incoherent and what he said, grammar not included, was stupid. Even your 'correction' is pretty unclear. There was absolutely no hypocrisy there. Pointing out a mistake someone else made doesn't mean the person pointing it out can never make that mistake. Especially when the scale is entirely different.
And how exactly are platitudes in general or this specific platitude related to past relationships? Shocker, they aren't. Do you know what a platitude is? Because what they aren't is related to personal past relationships, but considering the shit you've said about age and maturity I can't really expect you to know what you're talking about. Of course some pretentious narcissist has to try and psychoanalyze people in comments, it wouldn't be MD otherwise. And mentioning pedophiles is just an example of why his thought process is stupid; I could reference cheaters or something else that is more mild, but I used criminals to drive the point home. Why shouldn't it be talked about? Even with the context, what he said is stupid and it's easy to illustrate. Her being impressed by a stupid comment like that is exactly why this is relevant.
