Love how deftly mom snuck in the "when you're married to Umi" like that. And he didn't object.
Definitely gonna be a "we welcome you into our family and you can bring your mom to hang out with us as well" type of moment.Boy, he's trying to get over his parents' divorce and working through the realization that his family won't ever go back to the way it was...
right before a family dinner with his GF, who, by all accounts, has a normal, happy family.
That's prime emotional breakdown material right there. (And comfort cuddles later, I guess)
Nah, it's accurate. It's like a culture thing in some Asian countries. Places that are more westernized tend to be more flexible with minor "contracts" like this, while places that are still traditional tend to be rigid with them. It got its pros and cons. More pros imo, like, being flexible sometimes is hard on the managing committee (got experience with people changing plans non-stop thus making more work for me and the team). The old gramps I talked about mentioned about "instilling the importance of promises/contracts" by being rigid about stuff like this.Could be a misinterpretation on the TL's part, what she said would make sense if they had requests from students to fill a spot if there was a cancellation, and that she couldn't bump Maki up the list.
His mom enjoys her work. I forgot what job though. It was mentioned in the novel from time to time. What kid loves to see their parents devoted to work? In what kind of nighmare world they live?
Manga staffer. She clears the class' festival use of knockoff Chainsaw Man.His mom enjoys her work. I forgot what job though. It was mentioned in the novel from time to time.
Can someone spoil me what happens to the mom after this ?I love milfs so much it’s unbearable to see one be sad like this
They really are technically not dating yet, of course, which makes certain upcoming events rather surprising. Some people just make assumptions.
- technically not dating
- go around as couple
- got full acknowledgement from circle of friends
- already got blessing from parents (minus umi dad)
aren't they basically already got engaged at this point
sssssshhhhhHe's gonna break down isn't he
The answer to that would be a waiting list for people who missed the deadline, up to November. But that would mean the MC wouldn't get his chance most likely. So let me get this straight: There was a deadline to apply(?) for the christmas party back in september (wtf?!) and MC missed it. Now, however, multiple students gave note of not wanting to attend anymore. And instead of letting students fill those numbers they're stuck in their bureaucratic traditionalism not letting students in last minute. They'd rather have an "empty" party than be flexible about that deadline
Yeah that does make sense for Japan, just seems a bit overly rigid imo.Nah, it's accurate. It's like a culture thing in some Asian countries.
I disagree with this part though. With a competent management team, it's not difficult to keep a list of people who have requested a slot and to allocate slots to them based on cancellations - it's a negligible amount of extra work with a proper plan in place. I know this because I have done precisely that for work events with a few hundred people in attendance.More pros imo, like, being flexible sometimes is hard on the managing committee
Well, unlike most romcom protagonists, they're actually open about it, not faffing about not starting to date.he didnt deny the "get married to her" part, just that it was too soon, respect.
This is what I define as dating. They go on dates.
- technically not dating
- go around as couple
Yeah, it doesn't matter who fills the slots, just that the slots are filled to a reasonable extent. If there's a massive difference it might be a problem that needs solving, but minor adjustments either directions are usually fine.I disagree with this part though. With a competent management team, it's not difficult to keep a list of people who have requested a slot and to allocate slots to them based on cancellations - it's a negligible amount of extra work with a proper plan in place.
Nice, now I can romance her so mc can have siblingMom gonna be fine. Her health becomes stable since her emotional issues are resolved, her work is getting healthier too.
Sure, but they're high school kids, they might not be as competent as management professionals.I disagree with this part though.
