Kazama's mother ends up in the hospital because of an illness and has to have a surgery. He ends up feeling guilty for his relationship with his Mother and decides not to go to the game, even though his Mother and Sister saying he could go, but in the end he ends up going to the game, if I'm not mistaken he goes after knowing result of the surgery, and manages to arrive on time.
