It's hard to say, but I'm leaning more towards idols making more money.

Considering just how bad the otaku problem in Japan is. You have an entire generation of adults, supplemented by people from younger generations that have completely given up on the idea of getting married, having kids, and then being forced to work long excruciating hours until you potentially keel over on the job, all because that's what you're expected to do if you're the man of the house.

Because of this, these are the people that throw insane amounts of money at whatever can appeal to them the most. Whether that be games, anime, idols, and so on. Gacha games especially are designed to appeal to them, and suck up as much money as possible. Look at a game like Fate/GO which by this point has grossed over 7 billion dollars over the course of its life (and is still going strong), the majority of that coming from Japan.

As for the idol industry, I feel like that one is potentially the most profitable, but the most demanding. These are the kinds of people that will go out and buy ten copies of the same album at a time, simply if a handshake with the idol is something that can be had. I feel that the purchasing power of idol fans is stronger than porn star fans. That said, realistically speaking it's likely that the same people that go out of their way to support idols likely do the same for their favorite porn stars.

I'm long past that point now, and haven't followed this series for a long time now, and only click on it occasionally when I see that it's been updated. I definitely side with those that are tired of this series and want it to end already. Seeing humans being treated as nothing more than meat gets real old. It'd be one thing if they just stuck with violence and gore, but I'm getting really tired of how often rape is used and depicted in manga. Also in the case of Dead Tube it's especially annoying since they pretty much did everything, to the point where the series is on repeat now, rehashing past story lines that play out in similar to completely identical ways.

The only good point you're making is that the series is stale and repetitive.
Everything else is just personal gripes because you cannot accept the fact that you are the one clicking on the chapter and reading it. Nobody is forcing you to do so. You are literally the only person making yourself miserable by reading this series.
Furthermore, wanting it to "end already" is not up to you. It'll end when either the publisher thinks it's not economically viable to continue or the author is done writing it. Your complaints have zero impact and value in that regard, especially on a site that could be argued counts as being an aggregator for pirated material.

Anyway, be a goddamn adult and either take a clean, permanent break from this series or just accept that it is what it is and stop wasting your own time writing these whine posts.
