Having seen how a quarter of the fighters get around, and having played Starfield recently, I say there are always alternative ways of getting around.

Also, this does not seem like an even battlefield. It's not even remotely symmetric.

I forget, did Crim completely give up her katana when she when scythe? Forget if this game has anything like an inventory system (to let her have it while it's not visibly on her here), but with how the opponents talk about how they're weak to "attacks that come out quickly" I half expect her to surprise them with a katana attack once they get used to the scythe.

Her Scythe was created via the skill [Shadow Weapon] which lets her produce weapons she has proficiency in at the cost of blood. She does it at the start of the battle when she started with a Dagger and then just pulls the Scythe out from nothing.
Though I think that Katana is her actual main hand equip. Of course that thought is based on basically nothing.
