I really can’t think of common denominators between the shrunken characters. Maybe it is something in the genes. I’m hoping that Ai’s mom has an arc explaining what it is even if it’s in flash back form. It feels like we don’t know much about what her parents were doing and what happened to them. Would be a good way to get to know them and the drug better.

I remember her from that case when it was first revealed that Mizunashi Rena is a part of the Organisation. However, the official translation in my country refers her as a leader of the opposing political party of the target, instead of a Yakuza leader.
