Agree, and why would MC be willing to bet it?
She was doing whatever she want since the chapter 1, why would she be afraid of "it will be hard if its known that i was the one who broke the demon seal" so what? You are the one who take down the demon too in the end....

She even has several counter-threats she can pull, and probably make good on, from:
“You’re going to make an enemy our of me?” When she threatened to reveal she was the one to lift the seal to;
“What’s to stop me from joining the other side of the war?”
After all, she barely has any attachments to the country as she showed up just a few weeks ago.

If you'll recall, the terms of the duel is that the loser is the one who drops her weapon.

Well, yeah, the OP Isekai character being stepped on by someone weaker is such a dumb trope...

I'll just try to think of it as Nacht not going all end of the world as they want information on Aisha's mother and also not trying to make Aisha being tainted... As one of things, Nacht likes about Aisha is her Pure Soul.

She doesn't want to be hated in the first place... Just wants a good ol rpg adventure.

I didn't really mind it while reading the chapter, but hard agree on Nacht's submissive behavior.
She's a walking nuke. You shouldn't be able to threat a walking nuke and get away with it.

(I believe none of us want a domineering Wuxia , species-extincting murder hobo of a Chinese MC here, but a spineless, obsequiuous Japanese MC is also a bad extreme that gotta be balanced out.)

It's more that Nacht think that being wanted would be rather annoying hindrance in gathering information.

Then Aisha choosing to accept the 'game' shifted it from 'how to negotiate this' to 'my baby want to do this, LET'S FUCKING DO IT' (hence her...lax attitude in the latter bits)
