13 chaps in... surprisingly good, mc isnt the typical beta cuck youd see in these types of romcoms,

And he actually has thoughts that makes sense for his personality

Discount OreGairu sounds about right, though this manga is more lighthearted, meanwhile OreGairu was taking itself way too seriously

I like this mc, he does things with a clear explanation unlike other romcom main characters. He also thinks about the female characters situations and feelings rather than just ignore them and repeat the same day without any changes and hahaha until the series comes to an end. I would very much prefer something like this over most copy and paste romcom.

Anyone have info on whether this was also axed like the novel? Most likely it is but I'm huffing copium that this is a mythically rare instance of the manga outliving the novel

I hate his way of thinking but I like how straight forward he is. I hope the character development after this chapter will be satisfying

I just finished reading chapter 15 and im confused as to why she has this sense of “responsibility” when bringing him back from the dead, they owe eachother nothing, so i dont get why now she cares about him, when in their past life, the literally could care less about him? It doesnt make sense.

90% of the dialogue is useless and barely anything happens between minor story developments. I understand that this is based off the novel, but the manga artist could of taken some creative liberties and move the characters somewhere else other than the only 2 locations; classroom, café booth. These boring 15 chapters could have been 5 decent ones.

*Chapter 17
Now That is what I'd call a good Character Development. Beautiful art with Nice writing and hopefully it won't get axed like the novel did.

I really really like this series. There's a big dichotomy between the two major characters and their outlooks, but it's done in a way where you can empathize with both of their positions. They're well-written, likeable characters who have reasonable motivations and depth. I was wrong going into this thinking it would be just another series where a girl whose only personality trait is being pretty inexplicably falls madly in love with some unlikable loser.

shit

mc is literally me three years ago, he just needs to find the right people (his people) to talk to, who he doesn't need to be fake around. in this case it turns out hanamitsuji is his right person.

ALSO
damn this is good. it looks like generic shit at first but it really isn't, thanks to how self-aware it is. the meta aspect allows it to acknowledge that many titles are escapist, and so it actually addresses the issue a lot of its audience probably faces (or at least i did), which is solitude through lack of social skill.

its generic opening might actually be a mastermind move by the author to capture the audience represented by the mc.

I have to comment this.
The cover arts with the girls showing the smartphone looks like the pregnant test meme

The original idea looked a bit refreshing but after 12 chapters, can't say the story brings anything new and the male character is once again boring and annoying, leaving the ladies to make the manga enjoyable as always.

I wonder since the LN was axed at 2 volumes will this just suddenly end the same?
