I checked and all the pages seem to be there.
The chapters have been shorter the past few volumes, around 45 pages instead of 50. That started sometime after the demon king was defeated.

I honestly appreciate that they've given a good reason for Avan to not find Hyunkel in the water before Mystvearn. While he waa shocked from striking on instinct, I never liked the idea that he couldn't reach Hyunkel after that. I mean, he's the hero! A river current is nothing to him.

Same! I always felt like Avan should have been able to find Hyunckel, and he would've searched for years. His being frozen was a good choice by Sanjo-san. It solved a lot of problems.

No references. But after reading all these chapters I want to play my next Dragon Quest game. But I'm not sure which one.
Avan fucked up so hard by not explaining first before graduating.
Yes, it sounds weird, but with these remakes they were made to be played like that this way.
Massive improvements to the original games and also made a new entry points.

Yeah, that's probably better. So 1 will be the next game I play.
1 is finished. It was a fun game,
except the area around Cantlin. I'm wondering if I should have gotten the Armor before that. And I find that they did a good job with showing Erdrick's sadness.
