As for the chapter, this fight is dragging on for so long it feels tiring. Even though the Nobles vs Commoners dragged on, this one feels more so.

Comparing the two, this one had more at steak, reveals and power-ups, but still feels shallow. The Nobles vs Commoners one we already knew that MC was going to curb stomp, but it was okay to read and wait for the next chapter.

I also feel this particular flashback is used poorly. right now its just a flimsy excuse for a deus ex machina moment.
the flashback should have been placed several chapters earlier, as foreshadowing masked as character development. and this isn't the first time situations like this happened.

but right now it looks like the author makes up the story as they go and then uses flashbacks as replacement for character development / foreshadowing / worldbuilding etc.

Damn the Katia panel was beautiful. And glad Medis finally woke up! But also, I agree with the vast majority of comments about this fight. It’s dragging, and it feels like it’s dragging, which is unfortunate. You can make an extended fight and not feel like it’s too slow, too cumbersome, etc. and this mangaka is definitely good enough to know when a fight feels too long. Must have been a thing they used to have more time to figure out where the plot is going.

Like, why did Akira stop producing golems to kill the gravity field? He can 100% do both that and make the divine beast spears. It’s nonsensical.

hand on my head, so is anyone else wondering exact how long all of this is happening in real time over "story" time ? Like is of this all going on over seconds? mins? hours? Hell that might be the whole point of this evil guy's plan... trap them in a lackhole's time dilation field and zoom them pass whatever time period they're in so they can't act/ change whatever cookie plan they cooked up.

True. At this point, I think the MC is the most useless one now that the Princess is awakened. He has the most op power in his group, yet he is still dragging them down. Just focus on your goddamn job so that your friends can survive instead of getting distracted by every single little disturbance.

Dude has unlimited power and can only sit there gawking as his friends and allies repeatedly get beat up. How has he not summoned a golem of spitting elixir by this point? Or I dunno, just straight up giving them to his friends? Or actually keep attacking like he’s supposed to do?
