Man it really feels like the plots being really dragged out. First it was toxic waste, then it was an evil magic cult, then the evil magic cult was vindicated, then the evil magic cult caused toxic waste. We really didn't need backstory on the family. The few throw away lines in the first few chapters would have been fine, but now it's the focus of the story...
