Meh. Absolute garbage - no kissu, no confession, no conversion, no upperclassman-underclassman power dynamic and no emphasis on societal pressure to be normal. At least there weren't any males, but still:
That last page is really strong, but idk that it carries the entire rest of the chapter.
And how weird to see big blocks of text in a manga. Narration is one thing but it goes a little overboard...
Wait can anyone clarify the ending? She said "The end of humanity, huh... I'm so glad it was just a dream.", but in reality she's seems to still be in an apocalyptic zombie situation? I don't get it.
@Gouder
I think the bit where they were signalling the chopper and everything before it besides the non-apocalyptic bit was a dream. The end frame is the girl she loves, and the reality of their situation.
@Kiraidesu
as a fan of takemiya jin, i second this. the first 15 pages are just about exactly what i would expect from her usual oneshots, whereas the last page was completely unexpected and out of place. surprising and hilarious juxtaposition, and yet still in line with her at times twisted and broken characters -- just a lot less subtle in this case. i love it.
