Pretty cool ending. Though, overall, the last few volumes were quite dull compared to the rest of the story.

Ass ending. Huge plot holes. Shameless retcons (e.g. The Shirasagi / Shishidou tension clearly went farther back than the Headmaster and he clearly was not under Abidani’s spell as he was doing shady stuff even before). No actual deaths. Our “hero” lies to his friends and cheats Gokijima right to the end.

This will be lucky if I give it a 6/10 and that will mostly be for the fan service, Abidani (best character), Shyu Oumei (second best), Kaiser Mushrom (third best), and the early chapters (had promise until the author fucked it up).

There were a lot of good moments in this series, but it also had some really weak moments. And why the heck is his dad still alive? That's just a dumb twist. Overall I liked it, and might read it again eventually.
