I really feel for Miyamae, from having a fairly incompetent senpai co-worker as Maeno (who happens to be a high school ex-classmate) and also an (somewhat incompetent?) author as Nozaki under his care (and another 3 to top that! AHHHH)

Uhmm... ganbare, Miyamae...?

(I agree this was an amazing opportunity for Miyako to escape, but I don't think she is that much freely willing to do so. Goddamn tanukis.)

The more I see of this dude the more I hate him, good on the author.

Man, Miyamae sure has it hard. It's kinda impressive how Maeno manages to ruin both his authors' and colleagues' life. Being that incompetent is, in a way, a feat.

You know, I wonder if the Mangaka is writing this one from personal experience? Is there an editor out there they despise so much that they made them into that?

Hm, "essayist"? doesn't that mean she does text based only lit? (despite the monthly shoujo being a manga company) given how Maeno only cares about tanukis i'm surprised he would be able to manage her versus just putting on a nice face (since she was the only one who didn't hate him) and being like "Eh i won't bother reading/double checking" and just giving her an auto-approve XD

Other than being a suckup to the chief or the mangaka doing all the work i'm surprised maeno didn't get fired by now

never read their other series but wouldn't be surprised if there was stuff hinting at things like that. I know toriyama (dbz) based buu and some other charas off his editors and such
