Whatever it is, I, for one, am all for it.
It's a fun read, and plays off the trope of "foreign teaching styles" quite well.

Of course, it's all fantasy, this shit would never happen IRL.
The amount of effort required to become a teacher in most places is extraordinary, and the pay is usually shit. Most people don't go into teaching for the money, but for the... "satisfaction of teaching the next generation", if I had to put it in words.
