Huh. So this chapter fully establishes that the number of stars a person has isn't immutable. I thought Utena was just a freak.

Loco Souls 3 is pretty great at first blush, but the linearity really hurts subsequent playthroughs. Loco Souls 2 holds up way better on repeat plays for the massive build variety alone, to say nothing about how it has the best magic system in the series.

So I'm pretty sure this chapter's deep lore is telling us that Alice is a one-and-done kinda girl. The sort who keeps used game stores in business.
