This was a great chapter, Utena acted on the right way according to her character, this manga is really good by showing comedy on the form of her sadism while still considering the psychological aspect of Utena instead of only making this side of her to comedy or fan service. She loves magical girls and don’t want to see them corrupted but it’s still a sadistic that loves messing up cute girls but with more focus to the magical girls. (Note that this means that by what we know now she doesn’t like that fact that a magical girl was corrupted not that she is a masochist or submissive, so if this happened on a situation that wasn’t a fight of Evil vs Good she could have liked, though it could also be that she doesn’t like submissive masochists too we just can’t reach a conclusion right now)
For me the most interesting thing is probably how the author will make their relationship develop, its obvious that their relationship is the one with the most focus out of all other relationships until now, so guess is that if the next chapter still focuses on their relationship I think that they will discover each other identities and develop from that point, my idea is that they will still be enemies but perhaps when they aren’t on the magical girl mode they just enjoy their relation of Sadist X Masochist (since like I pointed before it isn’t confirmed that Utena dislikes masochists).
Some pointed out there are some plot points that were presented in the manga but don’t have been explored on other chapters, I think that they are all interconnected and the development of their relationship will be the trigger to start exploring these points for example the plot of Magenta thinking that Utena isn’t trying to win against them, if Azul really becomes friends with Utena she will definitely discover that she isn’t doing what she does for evil what will make possible to explore that point
