I would not be surprised with 2 volumes so one or two more chapters and I would not be surprised if it went on longer. Sometimes an author sets out from the start to write a one or two volume story. We need to see him fainting after this chapter though.

好き == suki == like/love Which is almost certainly what he said. It means both "like" and "love", and you have to go by context of what it means. See https://www.alexrockinjapanese.com/the-real-meaning-of-suki-in-japanese-like-and-love/

If you see "love confessions" they normally use "suki", though if the confessor wants to really get the point across clearly they'll uses something stronger.

MC delivery boy likes her, but does not love her at this point. He clarified. And "like" is what she certainly heard.

Frankly, "love" would be overload for this woman at this point. "Like her just as she is." is perfect, and it's great that she was able to handle it.
