You know, those heroes getting killed by Drykuva and the Great Demon Emperor army? It won't be a bad outcome.

It begins! I just wanted to say that.

In other words, the goddess doesn't grow. And that will be her downfall.

Orcs and oliphaunts. I've seen this battle before. It'll be fine. Just gotta hold out until the ghost army arrives.

Unfortunately, you will probably be disappointed.

heavy spoilers for LN Volume 5
Magnar ends up pretty devastated by the three armies.

In Yonato, Yonato's & Mira's armies decisively beat the western army and the Third does so poorly against the Asagi's squad that the the author doesn't bother to show a single second of it. This is actually the only time the Third shows up alive--we're (eventually) shown the immediate aftermath of the fight with him (the manga might even show Drykuva's corpse).

The eastern army includes the Demon Emperor (who can spawn monsters from his body). The eastern army is a decoy--they willingly retreat before they reach the eastern border of Magnar. The main purpose of that army was to trick Vysis into sending herself & multiple S-class heroes to that front (the Takao sisters & Kirihara).

The central army is led by the Second with (initially hidden) support from the First (who is the first demon ever besides the Demon Emperor who is able to spawn monsters from his body) attacks the citadel shown at the border of Magnar & the Golden Monster Area. The preparation & battle take up the bulk of Volume 5. While the demons are crafty enough that they almost are able to trap & wipe out the human army (the citadel has most of multiple countries troops, including the Princess of Nea that Seras served), Touka shows up in time to prevent a complete slaughter. Touka (gloriously) kills the First with his powers & Sogou kills the Second with her newly-awakened unique skill.

Only a single hero dies between all 3 fronts--one of the girls from Kirihara's squad. However, Yasu's actions during the battle & Kirihara's reaction to the girl's death do result in the dissolution of their squads--their squads decide to follow Sogou since she values the lives of her classmates.
