The numbers are so ridiculous you need to go full Warhammer 40k to reach similar levels. Makes one wonder how the story raises the stakes from here since things generally escalate in scale.
Having read a bunch of xianxia has accustomed me to ridiculous numbers, for real. I don't pay that much attention to them in fantasy anymore. Of course a series that tries to be even a little bit realistic is a different thing. This isn't trying to have much in the way of realism. In fact this is starting to remind me of xianxia when a single person can stop an army of a million enemies. This series is ok, but I’ve always thought the author overdid it with the size of the enemy force in this arc. The enemy numbers several orders of magnitude compared to Allen’s summons, so him holding a line is not possible because the line would be too wide for him and his summons to cover no matter how thin they spread themselves.
Tens of thousands of monsters would probably be a more appropriate number if the author wanted to show off the power of Allen’s summons (enemy is ~x100 times larger).
This is actually crucial. He usually replenishes his magic stones from mobs he defeatedare the drops just going to get lost under the sea..
oh no no no no -1000000
