@firefox1234 : With great power come great responsabilities. It's a little cliché buy it's true.
MC isn't the kind of guy which stay aside and do nothing. Even more if he has the potential to do something.
In this world of eat or be eaten he has to be strong if he want to stay true to his mindset. But this means staying righteous in his way of cultivating too.

Luckily for us the author doesn't want to use the bad tropes such as plot-armor, friendship-power or right-is-might. So we see MC being thorn about what to do and how to do it.

@Clad95150 I understand and I am cool with MC having a bottom line. But sadly he neither has the strength or the knowledge to be the type of cultivator that fits his persona. I find it extremely ironic that just a few chapters ago he was asking That little kid he saved if he would ditch his sister to become a cultivator yet MC has shown he is not ready to many any sort of sacrifices to pursue the life of a cultivator.

I am very curious how this story will play out.
