I feel like this arc or conflict or whatever is gonna be the closest we're gonna be to the manga directly saying what its whole theme/message is.

The argument about meaning becomes so subjective in such a diametrical way between the two of them, because for Hiroto it really isn't meaningless at all. Not from just a point about regrets, but like a difference of values that we've seen this whole time. But we totally get where Natsumi is coming from too. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out and what words will be said then lol

Nacchan is a bit immature and self-centered, but I completely understand her and her frustration to succeed artistically, to make something worthwhile, comparing herself, and asking herself how others can participate in art so freely, and that very frustration she pushes herself with being what holds her back creatively. Personally I'm secretly envious of Hiroto types and hope I can be more like them
